S130/190 is commonly referred to as the "red card" course. This is the basic wildland firefighting course that will get you certified nationally to fight wildland fires. This is an NWCG (National Wildfire Coordinating Group) certification that is honored across the United States.
This course is ONLY the required hands-on portion of the class. The remaining components must be done online at the students pace. Not all of the online components need to be completed by the field day, however full certification will not be given until all components are met.
