Science Fest with K-State
Engage in hands-on science activities and learn about biology, horticulture, engineering, animal science, food science, technology, health and other STEM-related fields.
- Research what you eat and learn about food science and food waste.
- Generate your own electrical energy.
- Solve plant-based mysteries.
- Meet your local 4-H STEM club.

Activities are aimed toward students from 4th grade to 8th grade, but families of all ages are welcome.
This event is part of NEA Big Read: Wichita and connects with the 2019 selection, "Lab Girl" by Hope Jahren.
NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with Arts Midwest.
