“So You Want to Become a Librarian?” Q&A

Guest speaker Dr. Haven E. Hawley, chair of the Special and Area Studies Collections Department at the University of Florida and former American Printing History Association president, alongside a diverse and delightful group of local librarians from K-State Libraries and the Manhattan Public Library will talk about their education, experiences and the many roads to becoming a librarian.

Students can ask questions, build networks and enjoy free cookies and coffee.

The event is sponsored by the Rare Book School’s Andrew Mellon Society of Fellows in Critical Bibliography, the Department of English, the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies, and the Primary Texts Certificate Program and organized by the English Department Literature Track.
