Spycraft 101 Workshop: Solder a Morse Code Keyer

Join the Sunderland Foundation Innovation Lab at Hale Library and learn how to safely use a soldering iron in our Low-Tech Makerspace.  In this workshop, you’ll learn about soldering tools, circuit boards, best practices and get to build your own Morse Code keyer for sending ... . -.-. .-. . - / -- . ... ... .- --. . ... (secret messages).

BONUS: While building your project, hear a brief history of spycraft from Mac Lewison, adjunct instructor in K-State’s National Strategic Selling Institute and former FBI Special Agent who specialized in counterespionage!
