The Graduate School, in partnership with the Staley School of Leadership, offers free leadership development opportunities for K-State master’s and doctoral students across all disciplines, helping them elevate their leadership practice while connecting with peers.

These workshops are offered in hybrid format to allow for in-person and virtual participation. Participants should plan to be actively engaged in every session.

These experiences strengthen non-technical skills that support academic success and career readiness, including:
- Building cross-disciplinary community
- Enhancing professional and interpersonal skills
- Preparing for future leadership roles

This workshop is about...
Organizations are dynamic, living systems comprised of constantly moving and changing parts. In this session, participants will discover how to identify, cultivate, and apply their personal and team strengths to foster adaptability and resilience in the face of uncertainty. Through interactive exercises, participants will learn practical tools for assessing strengths, managing and advancing change, and strengthening relationships. This session is perfect for graduate students interested in leading teams or organizations with a human-centered approach.
