DESCRIPTION:Kansas State University has partnered with The Green Bandana Pr
 oject to continue a national campaign to spread suicide prevention and men
 tal health awareness.  This workshop is tailored to help students learn ho
 w to recognize and respond to signs of distress in their peers.  The Facul
 ty/Staff training will also include a therapist from CAPS (Counseling & Ps
 ychological Services) to help address specific questions related to those 
 working with students.\n\nParticipants will learn about resources on campu
 s and helpful listening skills.  They will also have the opportunity to jo
 in the movement and receive resource cards and a green bandana to tie onto
