The Library and Your Research: Getting Started with Citation Managers
Citations and references, while essential to research and publishing, also consume a lot of your valuable time to store, organize, and format them. Fortunately, a number of tools exist that can help! This hands-on workshop introduces the features of citation management tools so participants starting their research can select the tool that will work best for them. Participants will create an account in Zotero in order to learn common steps for organizing citations and creating bibliographies. Computers will be provided but participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops to get set up on their computer. (Note: citations added to Zotero can be exported to other citation management tools.)
The Library and Your Research is a free workshop series to help graduate students enhance and professionalize their scholarly pursuits.
