This talk will present the following theorem and its proof: Any Stein manifold embeds into a closed symplectic manifold.

We will review the (p,q) PALF structure on the 4-disk, and define a Stein manifold.  We will then provide an algorithmic way to construct a PALF on a Stein manifold and an algorithmic way "close-up" a given PALF into a symplectic manifold.
