Come hear from the librarians from the Center for the Advancement of Digital Scholarship and New Prairie Press as they pull back the curtain on academic publishing and the lifecycle that powers how scholars communicate. They will discuss how to find journals for your work, ways to spot and stay away from predatory publishers, how to legally share your work after you’ve published, what an ORCID ID is and why you should get one and whether you should embargo your ETDR.
