Visual Thinking Strategies-informed discussion and film screening of "Brother Outsider"

Join us for a Visual Thinking Strategies-informed discussion of artist Paul Rucker’s Commemorative Stamps FOREVER prints imitating USPS stamps, followed by a screening of the film Brother Outsider. The FOREVER prints are featured in the museum's exhibition Do You See What I See?

Brother Outsider: This documentary tells the story of Bayard Rustin, The African-American civil rights activist, notable for his activism for racial equality, gay rights, socialist issues and organizing the 1963 March on Washington. www.brotheroutsider.org 

This event is part of Kansas State University's Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Week. Refreshments served. Co-sponsored by the LGBT Resource Center, SAGA, Diversity and Multicultural Affairs, and Ebony Theater.
