Jaymelynn Farney, K-State Beef Specialist with the Southeast Research and Extension Center, will meet with beef producers, to speak on stretching forage resources for cow herds for this upcoming winter.
This event is hosted by the Frontier Extension District, the program begins at 7:00 p.m. at Neosho County Community College – Ottawa Campus, 900 East Logan Street.
Dry weather the last couple of years has left many producers with limited pasture, hay and water resources. Farney will address these issues and discuss solutions.
Registration is not required, but producers are encouraged to mark their calendars for this program.
