Do you frequently encounter students asking, "What are we supposed to do?" immediately after assigning an activity or learning task? Do you find yourself needing to clarify expectations on group activities? Achieving the learning objectives for any activity or assignment hinges on the clarity of the directions provided.

This PD session is designed to enhance your ability to deliver clear and effective directions to students. You will learn key components of effective direction-giving and practice writing and communicating these directions to foster a better classroom environment and improve student learning outcomes.
