Wheat Plot Tours - Kansas State University Events

Join us at any of our plot stops with information from KSU specialists on variety selection, wheat disease updates, fertility management along with insect concerns.

First Stop: 10:30 a.m. Smith County Wheat Plot (Cooperator: Art and Linda Befort) Location: Turn north at the junction of Highway 36 and 281 (Lebanon). Go ½ mile and the plot is on the east side of the highway.

Second Stop: 1:30 p.m. Jewell County Wheat Plot (Cooperators: Jason Ryan and Justin Angleton), Location: Turn north at Highway 36 and the Esbon turnoff. Go about ½ mile and the plot is on the east side.

Third Stop: KSU Replicated wheat plot 4:30 p.m. Mitchell County Wheat Plot (Cooperators: Mike and Gregory Jordan) Location: 7 miles south of Beloit on K14 to P Road, go west 250 road, then ½ mile north on 250, plot is on east side of road, couple hundred feet north of old grain bin.

5:45 p.m. SUPPER at Tice Farms Office/Sprayer Shed. (At the corner north of the plot and a couple hundred yards west.)
