Wyandotte County K-State Research and Extension Extension Council Election Information Elections are open Aug. 9 until noon Sept. 13, 2021 Voters must be 18+ and Wyandotte County residents Ballots can requested from, and returned to the WyC Extension Office Ballots may be submitted by mail or on-site at 1216 N. 79th St., KCK 66112 The 2021 Wyandotte Extension Council will be announced at the September Executive Board Meeting, Sept 13 at 12:30 p.m. All board meetings are open to the public. For online meeting information contact the Wyandotte Extension office. The County Extension Council is composed of 24 elected members. Six are elected in each of four program areas; 4-H Youth Development, Community Development, Agriculture & Natural Resources and Family & Consumer Sciences. Each member is elected to a two-year term, and is eligible for re-election for a second two-year term. These six members in each of the four program areas make up the four Program Development Committees. From the 24 members, nine members will be elected to our Wyandotte County Extension Executive Board. All Wyandotte County residents 18+ years old citizens are eligible to vote in this annual election.
